About StockTrick.com

What StockTrick.com Is

StockTrick.com is a small, independent site built around six free calculators for common trading and investing arithmetic, plus a set of written guides and a browsable history museum. It exists to take specific pieces of trade and portfolio math — sizing a position, weighing risk against reward, working out a trade’s profit or loss, checking a dividend yield, projecting compound growth, and measuring return on investment — and make them faster to run than doing the arithmetic by hand or hunting down the right formula.

What It Isn’t

It isn’t a brokerage, a stock screener, a signal service, or a source of buy or sell recommendations. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, or trading advice, and none of it should replace guidance from a licensed financial advisor. Every calculator here does arithmetic on the numbers you type in — it has no live market data feed, no opinion on whether a setup is worth taking, and no knowledge of your personal financial situation. Trading and investing carry real risk of loss, including loss of principal, and past performance — yours or a strategy’s — does not guarantee future results.

Independent and Ad-Supported

StockTrick.com is not affiliated with any stock exchange, brokerage, index provider, or financial-standards body it writes about or references, including any exchange, company, or instrument covered in the museum or the guides. The site costs nothing to use and is paid for by the on-page advertising you see, not by subscriptions or brokerage referral fees. That funding model has no bearing on what any calculator outputs.

The Six Calculators

The Position Size Calculator takes your account balance, risk-per-trade percentage, entry, and stop-loss and works out how many shares a fixed-fractional risk model implies, along with the dollar risk and position value. The Risk/Reward Ratio Calculator turns an entry, stop-loss, and target into a reward-to-risk ratio and the break-even win rate that ratio would need over many trades — pure arithmetic, no signals. The Stock Profit Calculator works out the profit or loss on a share trade from share count, buy price, sell price, and an optional flat fee. The Dividend Yield Calculator computes a stock’s yield from its annual dividend per share and price, and projects annual income for a given share count. The Compound Interest Calculator projects the future value of a lump sum plus optional regular contributions across a rate, term, and compounding frequency. And the ROI Calculator measures the return on an investment from its initial cost and final value, including the annualized (CAGR) return when you add a holding period. All six are free, require no account, and run entirely on the numbers you supply.

Guides and the Museum

The learn section and blogcover the concepts behind the calculators — things like what risk-per-trade actually means or how dividend yield relates to price — in plainer terms than most formula references use. Separately, the Markets & Money Museum is a browsable collection of galleries on the coins and banknotes money is made of, the great stock exchanges and their trading floors, the stocks and instruments people trade, and the booms and busts of financial history. Every entry, image, and fact in the museum is drawn from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, not written or verified in-house, so treat it as a starting point for further reading rather than a primary source.
